ABC seeks to devise, develop, source and deliver needs-based accredited, vocational and recreational learning opportunities to community and voluntary groups. Training can be provided to individuals, organisations or multi-groups.
ABC's training is free and open to community groups and their representatives, committee members, staff and volunteers in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council (ABCBC) area.
Our community development training programme covers the key components and skills that local community organisations need to meet the requirements of their communities and are delivered across the ABCBC area. The workshops have been designed to be relevant, practice based and useful to participants of all levels of experience.
The subject areas of the community development workshops include:

- Child Protection,
- Manual Handling,
- Fire Safety,
- Writing Effective Funding Applications,
- Basic Introduction to Good Governance,
- Governance and Charities
- Committee Skills Training,
- Planning for the Future,
ABC is a host organisation for Verve Health Trainers and their associated activities. Opportunities currently offered at the ABC Health Hub include: Walking Group; Cycling Group; Relaxation Yoga and Meditation; Cook It; Gardening activities and Arts and Crafts.
