AED Grant Support Scheme

AED Grant Support Scheme

You can play a vital role in helping to save lives in your local community by applying for funding to purchase Public Access Defibrillator (AED) equipment and/or CPR Training support in your area.

After calling 999 and performing CPR, using a defibrillator is the best way to increase the chances of someone surviving a cardiac arrest.

With the support of £70,000 of funding from the Department for Communities, Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council is delighted to be able to offer grant support to groups to assist with the purchase of these vital life-saving devices.

The aim of the scheme is to address current gaps in provision across the Borough.

All applications are to be submitted online using the link:

A copy of the Applicant Guidance Manual, which gives more detail on the AED Support Grant Scheme, is also available from this link once the call opens for applications.
